Daraz Pakistan has partnered with HBL – Habib Bank Limited and Visa to launch a “Tap & Pay” solution in Pakistan that provides customers with the option to pay with bank cards for cash on delivery orders at their doorstep. This initiative underscores Daraz’s commitment to digitize Pakistan’s economy through the adoption of new technologies.
With the Tap & Pay solution, a customer can make a digital payment for an order with any bank credit or debit card at their doorstep by simply tapping/scanning the DEX delivery hero’s mobile phone. This solution will allow customers to avoid paying in cash and switch to contactless payments.
As the first e-commerce platform to introduce Tap Pay in Pakistan, Daraz ensures that Tap Pay is a secure payment solution that gives its customers the confidence to make digital payments at their doorsteps. In addition, the DEX heroes of Daraz played a key role in the implementation of the mPOS method. According to Daraz, They have learned new technologies to guide customers and continue to deliver smoothly.
As Daraz mentioned, Tap & Pay solution is now available in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi with all DEX delivery heroes and it will gradually expand this facility to other cities.
