Careem has partnered with MicroEnsure Pakistan to provide captains with a range of innovative life, health and accident insurance products on payment of nominal subscription fees.
This partnership complements the work the two companies have been doing together since 2019 to design and deliver insurance products for Careem Captains.
As a result of Captains’ growing demand to provide risk protection to one of their most valuable assets, smartphones, the teams collaborated to create two products.
Careem Screen Protect provides a financial benefit if the captain’s smartphone screen is accidentally broken. Similarly, Careem Mobile Protect provides compensation in case of loss or theft of smartphones anywhere in Pakistan.
As before, these products are offered at nominal prices and with a simple process.
The two teams launched the expansion in the product set at a meeting at MicroEnsure’s offices in Islamabad.

This partnership will help captains to deal with such situations in a sophisticated manner, which will ultimately improve their lives.
