Chery, the renowned automotive company, is gearing up to introduce a range of new cars in Pakistan, including the electric Omoda E5 and off-road models Jaecoo J7, J8, and the plug-in hybrid Jaecoo J7 PHEV.
Omoda E5:
The Omoda E5, a pure electric car, boasts a WLTP range of 430 KM with a 61 KWh LFP battery. Packed with features like 9.9 KW AC charging, 80 KW DC charging, and a 24.6-inch dual screen, it promises a futuristic and intelligent driving experience. The Omoda E5’s design language, labeled “Light of Movement,” aims to captivate the imagination of global young consumers.
Jaecoo J7 and J7 PHEV:
Jaecoo, Chery’s new off-road marque, unveils the J7, an urban off-road crossover SUV designed for diverse terrains. It features a 1600 CC turbocharged engine, 14.8-inch digital infotainment screen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and various driving modes. The plug-in hybrid variant, Jaecoo J7 PHEV, is set to launch later this year.
Jaecoo J8:
Chery’s larger SUV, the Jaecoo J8 (also known as Chery Tiggo 9), competes with the likes of Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. With a powerful 2000CC turbo engine, it offers features like a large touchscreen, rear climate vents, dual-zone climate controls, and advanced safety features.
