Karachi Metropolitan corporation (KMC) Administrator and Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab did the groundbreaking of Karachi’s first solar park undertaking at Kidney Hill Park.
Wahab announced that KMC has started paintings on its first solar park at Kidney Hill Karachi. It will produce 100-kilowatt strength.
“The initiative will assist KMC produce easy power that allows you to then be activated for paying the electricity invoice of road lights in KMC controlled regions,” he said.
Later, in a statement, Wahab stated the solar panels will start operating within months. it’d be capable of generating a hundred kilowatts of energy at a monthly price of around Rs 5 million.
In advance, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had announced plans to convert all Pakistan global Airports into solar power. The aviation authority decided to switch Karachi’s Jinnah international Airport to solar strength. also directed the government involved to prepare a feasibility plan in this connection.
