Government announces 5 days of public holidays for Eid ul Fitr 2023

To celebrate Eid ul Fitr in 2023, the government has declared a five-day holiday in Pakistan. Similarly, an announcement released by the nation’s Ministry of Interior states that the holidays would start on Friday, 21st of April, and go through Tuesday, April 25.  Moreover, this choice has been taken to allow country residents to celebrate this significant religious holiday with their families and close friends.

Eid ul Fitr is expected to be celebrated nationwide on Saturday, April 22, according to earlier predictions from the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council (RHRC). In addition, the celebration of Eid ul Fitr 2023 will take place on Friday, if the crescent is visible on Thursday evening. Furthermore, he continued, it seems improbable that the moon would be seen that evening.
