In a significant development for students across Punjab, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has officially released the date sheets for the 9th and 10th-grade annual exams scheduled to commence on March 1, 2024. This announcement comes after a pivotal meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen held at BISE Rawalpindi, where the tentative date sheet for the upcoming matric examinations was finalized.
Ensuring uniformity and consistency, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has collaboratively established a synchronized date sheet and timetable for the matric exams across all educational boards in the province. This collective effort aims to streamline the examination process for the benefit of students and educational institutions alike.
As per the tentative date sheet, the 10th-grade exams will kick off with History of Pakistan on March 1, followed by Punjabi on March 2, English Compulsory on March 4, and Arabic on March 5. Subsequent subjects will be examined on designated dates, with the final paper, Urdu compulsory, scheduled for March 18.
For 9th-grade students, the exams are set to commence on March 19, beginning with Economics and History of Pakistan, followed by English on March 20, Arabic on March 21, and concluding with Pakistan Studies on April 4. The morning session papers will start at 8:30 AM, while the evening session exams will commence at 1:30 PM, except on Fridays when the evening session will begin at 2:30 PM.
It’s crucial to highlight that while this date sheet has been collectively decided by the Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen, the final and official date sheet will be formally announced by the respective educational boards.
