In a highly awaited moment, all the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) across Punjab are gearing up to officially announce the results of the annual class 9 exams tomorrow, on the 22nd of August. As the academic world eagerly awaits this significant announcement, the culmination of months of hard work and dedication is about to be revealed.
The momentous occasion will see all nine BISEs, namely Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Sargodha, publishing the results on their respective official websites. The anticipation has been building, fueled by the confirmation of the announcement dates for both class 9 and 10 results, which was made by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons (PBCC) last month.
For class 9 students, the journey began on the 18th of April, spanning through the academic rigors until the 19th of May. The culmination of this period will be marked by the official announcement of results on the 22nd of August. The class 10 students underwent their examinations earlier, from the 1st of April to the 17th of April, with the results being unveiled on the 31st of July.
The timing of this announcement coincides with the reopening of schools across the province, as they resumed their academic activities today, the 21st of August, following the observance of the summer break. The School Education Department (SED) had officially declared the summer holidays, stretching from the 6th of June to the 20th of August. With the academic wheels now set in motion once again, the timing couldn’t be more apt for the long-awaited results.
