Tesla to launch Waterproof Cybertruck

On Thursday, Tesla’s CEO said on Twitter that the Tesla Cybertruck will be waterproof and have the ability to cross calm rivers, lakes and oceans.

The Tesla Cybertruck doesn’t exist yet, but Elon Musk has said that when it does, the futuristic-looking van will have the potential to “briefly” function as a ship if the situation calls for it. This prediction was made with reference to the Tesla Cybertruck.

Mr. Musk even went so far as to explain the reasons for the watertightness, saying that the Cybertruck would have to be able to get from Starbase, which is SpaceX’s facility located in Boca Chica, Texas, to South Padre Island, which would require a flyover channel. South Padre Island is located in the Gulf of Mexico.

In 2019, Tesla introduced the Cybertruck to the public. The company originally planned to start production by the end of this year; however, it has now postponed this target to the first quarter of 2023.

The rocket-like truck is made of the same type of stainless steel used in cars, and the electric car has a unique geometric layout. According to the product description on Tesla’s website, the vehicle has “more performance than a sports car and better utility than a truck.”

Elon Musk tweet

Earlier this year, Mr. Musk announced that the much-anticipated Cybertruck would be available in top-of-the-line four-engine form.

He said in a tweet that the initial production run will use a four-motor model that will have separate, ultra-fast torque response control for each wheel. Tesla’s CEO called the vehicle a “crazy technological train” and said the Cybertruck will feature both front and rear wheel steering, meaning it won’t just be able to turn. like a tank, but they also move diagonally like a crab.

During this time, Ford Motor Company and Rivian Automotive launched their own electric pickup trucks, beating Tesla to the top spot. The Rivian R1T pick-up truck is now available for purchase and delivery. In addition, Ford has begun distribution of its F-150 Lightning electric truck, and the company intends to significantly increase deliveries in 2023.
