AirSial, a prominent player in Pakistan’s aviation sector, is gearing up to extend its services to yet another destination in Saudi Arabia. The airline recently made a significant announcement, unveiling plans to launch flights to Dammam, as reported by ARY News.
Ameen Ahsan, the CEO of AirSial, disclosed that the airline is set to operate two weekly flights connecting Dammam to Islamabad and Lahore. This expansion marks another stride in AirSial’s commitment to enhancing travel options for passengers.
Notably, AirSial entered the Saudi Arabian market in March, initially focusing on providing travel services to Umrah pilgrims. The inaugural flight, carrying 160 passengers, took off from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to Jeddah, marking the airline’s foray into this important route.
Fazal Jilani, the Chairman of AirSial, revealed that the airline has ambitious plans for its Saudi Arabia operations. Presently, the airline intends to operate eight weekly flights from Lahore and Islamabad to Saudi Arabia. These flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, ensuring convenient travel options for passengers.
Moreover, Jilani shared insights into AirSial’s future roadmap, outlining the airline’s intention to introduce more routes. The second phase of operations will see the addition of routes from Karachi, Peshawar, and Sialkot to Jeddah. For these new routes, an Airbus A320 will be deployed, ensuring a comfortable and seamless travel experience.
With the expansion to Dammam and the planned routes, AirSial is poised to operate a total of 68 flights to Saudi Arabia every month. This strategic move not only bolsters the airline’s presence in the region but also reflects its commitment to providing enhanced connectivity and travel options to passengers.
As AirSial continues to make strides in the aviation industry, its expansion plans signal promising opportunities for travelers, making travel to Saudi Arabia more accessible and convenient than ever before.
