Recognizing this issue, the PDWP has allocated a substantial budget of Rs. 3,951.469 million for the construction of a flyover and underpass. The approval of this significant project took place during the 37th meeting of the PDWP, led by Chairman Planning and Development (P&D) Board, Iftikhar Ali Sahoo. Secretary P&D Board Muzaffar Khan Sial, along with other key officials, contributed to shaping the vision of a more accessible and efficient city.
Beyond Garhi Shahu Chowk

The meeting also greenlit the construction of a signal-free corridor from Karim Market to Motorway (M-2) Phase-I, Lahore, with an allocated budget of Rs. 2,975.034 million. Cultural Heritage and Pilgrim Trails
In a holistic approach to development, the PDWP also approved Rs. 635 million for the conservation and upgradation of shrines and mosques in Uch Sharif. This includes the creation of a pilgrim trail, emphasizing the preservation of cultural heritage alongside modern infrastructure improvements.
