Telenor Pakistan has achieved a remarkable milestone, as it claimed the top position at the “Telecom Cyber Security Awards 2024.” Indeed, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) hosted this prestigious event in Islamabad, where Telenor Pakistan excelled in Category I, covering Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) and other major telecom players.
Following an extensive audit and revalidation process, PTA recognized Telenor Pakistan for its outstanding compliance with the Critical Telecom Data and Infrastructure Security Regulations (CTDISR). Every year, PTA assesses operators against strict security standards to protect national telecom infrastructure. As a result, Telenor Pakistan’s high compliance rate set it apart from competitors.
At the ceremony, Telenor Pakistan’s CEO, Khurrum Ashfaque, accepted the award directly from the Minister of State for IT & Telecom.
