UBL collaborated with LMKT and NICK to host the BuiltByHer 3.0 Hackathon

The Hackathon targeted empowering aspiring lady marketers in creating technologies to enhance Pakistani ladies’ financial inclusion, whilst selling science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education amongst young women.

At the event, thirteen participating groups pitched modern answers aiming to make formal banking available and inclusive.

The girl-led teams took the degree and pitched their solutions to a panel of banking and startup industry leaders. The panel included Aliya Ahmed (Head of digital Channels, UBL), Zohair Saif (Head of Innovation, UBL), Omar Abedin (project Director, NICK), Sana Shah (program manager, NICK) and Faizan Laghari (handling Director, Bykea).
