The initiative, spearheaded by the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, follows complaints about network issues and procedural delays during visits to various offices in Lahore. Recognizing the need for a more efficient approach, the online service aims to streamline the application process, offering a user-friendly alternative to the traditional method.
To apply for a learner driving license online, individuals can follow these straightforward steps:
- Create an Account: Sign up on the DLIMS licensing website to create a personalized account.
- Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the online application form with the required details.
- Upload Necessary Documents: Submit scanned copies/pictures of the original CNIC’s front and back sides. For applicants aged 50 and above, a medical certificate signed by a government doctor is also required.
- Generate a PSID: Create a Payment Slip ID (PSID) and proceed to pay the necessary fee through ATM, online banking, or mobile banking channels.
