The Pakistani rupee (PKR) fell for the second straight day. It opened at 278/$ in the interbank market. However, it dropped throughout the session, closing at 277.96/$ after losing 12 paisas.
Moreover, open market rates stayed between 278 and 281. The rupee has gained 0.14% in the fiscal year so far.
Against the Saudi Riyal (SAR) and UAE Dirham (AED), it lost three paisas. Similarly, it dropped by Rs. 1.12 against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
Meanwhile, the PKR fell by 41 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD). It also lost Rs. 1.57 against the British Pound (GBP) and 86 paisas against the Euro (EUR).
Hence, the rupee struggled across all currencies today.
