Lahore Police recently dismantled a major operation involving stolen motorcycle parts. Authorities arrested over 50 individuals involved in Lahore motorcycle parts theft. Investigations showed that more than 70% of the stolen motorcycles were over five years old, targeting the heart of Lahore motorcycle parts theft and disrupting the illegal market.
Criminals took the stolen bikes to junkyards in Bilal Ganj and Misri Shah, where they stripped the bikes for parts and sold them.
Police discovered many suspects were drug addicts, using stolen goods to fund their habits. SSP Taswar Iqbal confirmed the crackdown significantly reduced motorcycle thefts in the city.
This operation highlights the need for vigilance and continued efforts to protect citizens’ property.
