Pakistani Students Struggle to Get UAE Visas for Finland Education

Hundreds of Pakistani students who got admission offers from top universities in Finland are now stuck and very disappointed. The problem is that they have to travel to Abu Dhabi, UAE, to complete their visa process at the Finnish Embassy. But UAE is rejecting their visit visa applications again and again.

Even after submitting all important documents like offer letters, bank statements, hotel bookings, return flight tickets, and confirmed embassy appointments, students are still facing visa rejections.

One student said,
“I spent over 600,000 rupees to prepare for this process, but my UAE visa was rejected. I followed all the rules. I don’t know what else to do.”

This problem is not only for students alone. Many families applying for family visit visas, which meet UAE’s own rules, are also being rejected without any clear explanation.

To make things worse, some agents in Pakistan are charging 4 to 5 times the normal visa fee, taking advantage of desperate students. These agents make false promises, but visas are still denied, causing students to lose a lot of money.

Key points:

  • Students need to travel to Abu Dhabi for the Finnish visa process but face UAE visa rejections.
  • They submit all required documents but still get rejected.
  • Families applying for family visit visas are also being rejected without explanation.
  • Some agents are charging very high fees and making false promises.
  • Students and families are losing large amounts of money and facing stress.

A message to UAE and Finland Embassies:

We respectfully request the UAE Embassy to reconsider this situation. These students and families have genuine reasons to travel for education, not tourism. Their documents are valid. Their appointments are confirmed. Please don’t block their future.

We also urge the Finnish Embassy in Abu Dhabi to consider these issues seriously. If the only option for visa processing is through Abu Dhabi, the system must support students from Pakistan in a fair and practical way.

Right now, before even reaching Finland, a student or family is spending huge amounts of money, facing stress, uncertainty, and rejection. This is not how education journeys should begin.

Final Thought:

Please, UAE – don’t close doors on genuine students. And Finland – please take notice of what these students are facing just to reach your country. Their dreams are real, and their efforts are honest. Let’s not make it harder than it already is.
