The Sindh government has launched an e-taxi program to create jobs for the youth. Sharjeel Memon, the Information Minister, shared the details. Young people can now own and drive e-taxis through a subsidized plan.
The program splits the cost of vehicles between the government, banks, and participants. This makes electric taxis affordable. It also helps young individuals become self-reliant and independent.
Moreover, the initiative promotes eco-friendly transportation. It reduces unemployment while offering sustainable income options.
Memon stated that the program aligns with the government’s vision for economic growth. It also supports environmental sustainability by encouraging clean energy solutions.
