Zong worked with Sehat Kahani to set up three medical camps in the worst hit areas of Sindh, including Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Bhit Shah, Dadu and Khairpur. These medical camps provide free medical advice, raise awareness of prevalent diseases, and prescribe and provide antiviral medications and nutritional support.
Sehat Kahani CEO Sara Saeed Khurram said, Zong 4G acted urgently and reached out to the worst affected communities with medical aid and supplies as Pakistan suffered the worst floods in its history and Sindh province was the worst affected province. “
“We are truly honored by Zong’s continued support. As a result of our collaboration, more than 5,000 patients have been treated in our camps. Though other communities are also affected by this crisis, We hope to continue this impact,” she added.
Zong employees volunteer to help with medical camp procurement and other field relief efforts. Combining Zong 4G’s connectivity technology with Sehat Kahani’s medical expertise, the program is poised to provide reliable and quality healthcare to all those devastated by natural disasters.
Both organizations are committed to putting the needs of the Pakistani people first and foremost and are grateful that thousands of people are being treated at these three medical camps every day.
Zong previously partnered with Sehat Kahani to bring his over 12,000 healthcare sessions to the underprivileged during the COVID-19 pandemic.
