The MWM program is dedicated to encouraging all women and girls around the globe to succeed, pursue and persist in their STEM careers.
P&G senior leaders will mentor all the women across Pakistan to pursue their leadership opportunities and career goals through a renewed collaboration between P&G Pakistan and the MWM program.
During this program, P&G Pakistan succeeded in the target to mentor around 500 women from different professional backgrounds to get more benefits from better leadership, access to projects, mutual support, and higher-level advocacy.
Adil Farhat, who is the CEO of P&G Pakistan, appreciated this initiative and said, “This is something close to my heart and I strongly believe that with confidence and ambition, something women are too often discouraged from when we’re young, mentors can help reignite that fire and push women to achieve more than we’ve been told they’re destined for. Being a strong advocate of equality, P&G aims to enable women to work confidently and become an equal part of the industry through the MWM program. We are aligned on taking many more such initiatives in the future that will result in an equitable society for all.”
P&G has won the title of Champion for two consecutive years at the OICCI Women Empowerment Awards. Aspiring to build a world of equal opportunities and voices, P&G stated its global initiative#WeSeeEqual
UN Women and HOPE have also partnered with P&G to develop skills and promote girls’ education in Pakistan. To increase the participation of women in the workforce P&G is supporting the US-Pakistan Women’s Council. It’s also the founder of this council intends to promote gender diversity in the workplace.
