Snapchat announced Web platform for its users

Snapchat’s parent company, Snap, has announced the desktop version of its app. Snapchat for Web, is now available to all audiences around the world. The company initially launched a web version only for premium users in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Snapchat for Web allows users to send messages, snaps, and chat with video and voice calls. There are also over 10 lenses for video calling. As with the mobile version, messages sent from the web version of the app are automatically deleted after 24 hours. After listening to user feedback, the company said it has brought Snapchat’s core functionality to the web and plans to add more.

Snapchat is also introducing new chat shortcuts at the top of the chat tab to make it easier to sort messages, view missed calls, and reply to stories. Snapchat is also introducing a new question sticker feature that allows users to post questions to their stories. However, the company says that these features will be available soon.

To access Snapchat on the web, go to web.snapchat.com and log in with your username and password. You will be asked to complete the two-step verification process. You can, then automatically navigate to the web version of the app and pick up the conversation where you left off. Other users will see your Bitmoji with a laptop, indicating that you are accessing the chat from your desktop.
