As AI is widely spreading, various big tech corporations are investing to build their AI tools. Google has decided to create its own AI chatbot named “Code Red” to compete with the trending ChatGPT.
According to news reports, “Google is currently working on a search engine with AI chatbot features similar to that of Chat GPT. Apart from its AI chatbot search engine, Google is also invested towards 20 other AI projects to counter competition.”
To compete with Chat GPT a “code red” was developed by Google’s top-level management. Presently, Google is working on 20 AI projects which include image generation tools, and even a green screen mode for YouTube creators, a product prototype testing app.
To google, raising the popularity of other AI tools isn’t the only threat, but the most alarming aspect is that Microsoft has collaborated with ChatGPT. Furthermore, Chrome’s major competitor Bing will incorporate it.
It is expected that the Google chatbot will concentrate on precision and safeness, while also combating disinformation.
In a note to staff, the CEO wrote that “I am confident about the huge opportunity in front of us thanks to the strength of our mission, the value of our products and services, and our early investments in AI. To fully capture it, we’ll need to make tough choices.”
